Fees — Chicago & The Surrounding Suburbs
Our services are available by the hour, by the project, by the floor plan, or by retainer. Our services can be tailored to your individual needs and budget. Are you looking for a thoughtful gift for a loved one? Give a Redesign 2 Shine gift certificate.
Interior Redesign / Room Makeovers: For interior redesign and room makeovers, typically, we charge by the room. In general, single room makeovers take 3 – 4 hours. We’re also available for entire house makeovers.
Decorating: For decorating, we charge by the project, or an hourly rate if you are looking for shopping services. For larger projects we charge a retainer or a contracted price. By shopping for furniture, draperies, artwork, and accessories, we can create whole rooms. We also offer decorating consultations for remodels, such as kitchens and baths, and we’re happy to collaborate with the tradespeople you choose.
Color Consultations: For color consultations, we charge a flat fee for up to three rooms, and we create a color palette that flows from room to room. There’s a small additional fee per room for extra rooms.
Shopping Services: For shopping services, we charge by the hour, and a one-hour minimum is required. With our shopping services, we can shop for you, or with you, for items such as: furniture, accessories, artwork, window treatments, flooring, and lighting.
Event Décor: For event décor, we charge by the project.
Home Staging: For home staging, we charge by the project. Home staging can include: creating a checklist of things for you to do, working with you to accomplish the tasks, and/or a full home staging. If needed, furniture and accessories are available for rental, with a flat fee for the first 90 days, and a monthly rate after that.
