"Beth's work has done wonders for my home. The first project Beth helped with was my husband's home office. This was a spare room with a hodge-podge of old furniture and folding tables. In the closet at the back of the room a pitched ceiling walk-in closed housed more folding tables and a second small work area. With Beth's help we completely revamped space. After lengthy discussions about what we needed form the space two work areas and lots of space for books - the main room and closet were ridded of everything. Then Beth helped me find the right furniture to meet our needs and fit our budget. We got two separate work spaces, unique to my husband's and my needs, as well as space for our son and a reading chair. Beth also painted and lined the closet with bookshelves, making it part of the room rather than separate. In addition to the furniture selection and space planning, Beth brought in fabrics and a rug to soften the room, which is something I would never have done.

After Beth's work in our office, we had her help us redesign our family room. Given a large sectional sofa and a reclining chair she helped us bring in fabrics for pillows, a coffee table that doubles as an ottoman, which Beth helped make, and window treatments. In addition to helping coordinate the fabrics and making the window treatments, pillows, and ottoman, Beth also helped us decorate our neglected mantel. Given the disagreement my husband and I were having with the art, she helped us find compromise. She then worked magic to mix the things we loved with items she brought in to complement the art and balance the mantel. It is now the focal point that it should be.

I get so many complements on my home now and I know I wouldn't without Beth's help. What I love about her work is that when she's done, the space still feels like part of my home. I know her personal style is different than mine, but after talking extensively with me and seeing the things that I gravitate toward, she was able to help enhance my style rather than change it. She has brought an additional softness into my home with her touches of fabric in throw pillows, window treatments, and table coverings. Her work is priceless."

Jim and I are sooooo pleased how everything turned out. We love the drapes and thank you for being so gracious working with us with the fabric and the rods. Tony did such a nice job hanging them. The newly upholstered chairs and that table runner (the striped fabric being your idea) are such a dynamic addition to the room. One's eyes now hardly pay attention to my "dinosaur" dining room set as they have so many beautiful things to look at.

I am pleased to write this letter for a very talented person, Beth Curtis. I have only known Beth well over the past six months, but have grown to trust and respect her. She is an honest person and an outstanding designer.

Beth came to my home the first time in the fall of 2010. Having worked with four other “artists” in the past thirty years, I could tell she was yearning to “tweak my stuff”. I hope this makes you smile, and if you have worked with an incredibly talented designer in the past, you know exactly what I am talking about. They enter your home and immediately make small modifications, with your existing items, and the place goes from nice to gorgeous.

There was no pressure to buy anything new or to throw everything out and start over. She is pragmatic in her work and understands that everyone has different needs.

I hired Beth to create a haven for the three window seats we have in our home. They are in a bright area of the house that did not seem cozy or warm. Beth quickly changed that with the addition of some of the most beautiful, custom-made pillows you will ever see. The piping, trim and buttons make them look like a million dollars. In fact, I had priced them out with another designer and she quoted more than half again as much money, with less trim and detail.

If you are looking for someone who is not pushy and understands design combined with budget, you have found her in Beth Curtis. I am happy to associate myself with Redesign 2 Shine.

Beth took the time to ask us what we wanted to accomplish with changing our paint colors. She carefully and skillfully chose colors that go with our furnishings and artwork. She ordered larger paint swatches the next day. We would hire Beth for our next project
